Past White Glove Tours provided guests with the opportunity to experience a variety of works from AD&A Museum’s collections led by:
Dr. Minou Schraven, Leiden University, The Netherlands, who discussed the Museum’s internationally important collection of Renaissance Medals and Plaquettes
Architect Jeff Shelton and craftsman/designer David Shelton who discussed archival drawings made by renowned architects George Washington Smith, Lutah Maria Riggs, R. M. Schindler, and Irving Gill.
Dr. Bruce Tiffney, UC Santa Barbara, Professor of Paleobiology, who led a lively tour through the Museum’s Renaissance Cabinet and Collections discussing the fossils and plant specimens in the exhibition.
Dr. Sylvester Ogbechie, UC Santa Barbara, Professor of African Art History who explained the intricate design, construction and use of an African Engungun costume recently donated to AD&A Museum.
