Talk: Guerrilla Girls
When
December 1, 2017
Where
Isla Vista Theater
This anonymous collective of women artists produces pamphlets, billboards, and posters highlighting sexism, LGBTQ issues, and racial and economic disparities. They are identifiable by the gorilla masks they always wear to provide anonymity and focus viewers on their message, rather than personalities. Learn about their projects and the ongoing problems of representation in the art world. Co-sponsored by the Dept. of Art, and College of Creative Studies Colloquium + Curatorial Conversations.
