AD&A Museum Mexican Prints Celebration Featuring Mariachi Las Olas

Please join us for a special reception of our bilingual exhibition, Mexican Prints: The Garcia-Correa Collection, which celebrates the gift of sixty-one Mexican prints from collectors Gil Garcia and Marti Correa de Garcia. As an unprecedented addition to the AD&A Museum’s permanent collection, the Garcia-Correa Collection of Mexican Prints features works by artists who have been foundational to the Mexican printmaking movement.

Join us at 6pm for a tour with exhibition curator Ana Briz, AD&A Museum Assistant Director and Curator of Exhibitions. At 7pm inside the galleries, Mariachi Las Olas de Santa Barbara will present a special and educational performance featuring songs from the period. Come enjoy this sonic activation of the musical legacy of Mexico in connection to works on view at the AD&A Museum.

This event is free and open to the public. Drinks and light refreshments will be served outside in the Museum courtyard.
