164 DOWN AND 56 TO GO

164 collections catalogued and 56 more collections to go. The Architecture and Design Collection was awarded a CLIR grant in 2012, funding a three-year project focusing on making the ADC’s collections more accessible to the public. The first year of the project has involved creating collection-level records for every archive we have here at the ADC. Since June of 2012, we have successfully uploaded 164 finding aids onto the Online Archive of California. During the next two years of the project (2013-2015) I will be processing the following collections in more depth: the John Byers papers, Maynard Lyndon papers, Roland Eli Coate papers, Walter S. White papers, the John Elgin Woolf papers, and the Rex Lotery papers.

Every week or so, we will be updating the blog with interesting finds from the vaults, so stay tuned!
