The Arts of of Spain and New Spain

Students in the upper division art history course, The Arts of Spain and New Spain, will lead tours of the Colonial Latin American works on display. In their presentations of the formal elements and iconography of individual works, students will provide insight into the ways that viewers (both in the Spanish Colonial era and today) understand the subject matter and relate to the works.
