Highlighting serial print projects featured in the exhibition The Serial Impulse at Gemini G.E.L., currently on view at LACMA, this presentation will examine the history and culture of seriality at the renowned Los Angeles artists’ workshop and print publisher as well as how the impact, effect, and meaning of individual works in a series are altered when a series is seen in its entirety. Adam Greenhalgh is associate curator at the National Gallery of Art, Washington DC, and Associate Curator of the exhibition The Serial Impulse at Gemini G.E.L.
