Constant Movement, A Conversation

Event Date:

Wednesday, April 2, 2014 - 5:30pm

Central to Artist-in-Residence Fran Siegel’s drawing project is the idea of movement and change, especially as evidenced in the ever-shifting Santa Barbara populations and landscape. Using her work as a jumping off point, Siegel will discuss the concept of nomadism in relation to aesthetics and our contemporary urban existence with Jenni Sorkin, Assistant Professor, History of Art and Architecture and Casey Walsh, Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology.
