The Department of History of Art and Architecture is pleaseed to announce that Prof. Kellie Jones (Columbia University) will be will be presenting a lecture based on her new book, South of Pico: African American Artists in Los Angeles in the 1960's and 1970's in the AD&A Museum.  Her research interests include African Diaspora and African American artists, Latin American and Latino/a artists, and problems in contemporary art and museum theory.  The event will be followed by a book signing facilitated by local Chaucer's Bookstore.
